WINTER GROUP EXHIBIT
The Fraser Gallery was pleased to present a group exhibit of paintings and photographs by artists represented by the Fraser Gallery, including work by David FeBland, Mike Fitts, Lawrence Hislop, Tim O'Kane and others. A reception was held in conjunction with the "Bethesda Art Walk" on Friday, February 12 from 6pm - 9pm.

9TH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION
A group exhibition by finalists of this annual competition, curated by Catriona Fraser. An Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony was held in conjunction with the "Bethesda Art Walk" on Friday, March 12 from 6PM - 9PM.
The Fraser Gallery received submissions from 151 photographers. The finalists are Erin Antognoli, James Blackie, George Borden, Deb Casso, Alain Debrabant, Sharon Dowis, Karl Doyle, Jane Vanden Eynden, Lee Goodwin, Edward Hahn, Chris Heard, Walter Hobbs, Jessica Jastrzebski, Prescott Lassman, Minny Lee, Anita Licis-Ribak, Stephen Marc, Michael McCullough, Kent Mercurio, David Orbock, Michael Palmer, Walter Plotnick, David Quinn, Allen Russ, Virginia Saunders, Edgar Stewart, Shaun Van Steyn, Michael Wilson, and Christopher Zedano.
An Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony was held in conjunction with the "Bethesda Art Walk" on Friday, March 12 from 6pm - 9pm.

CONTEMPORARY ART FROM WALES
The Fraser Gallery, in association with the Welsh Assembly Government, was pleased to present a group exhibition of contemporary art from Wales. Including installation by Carwyn Evans, sculpture by Jessica Lloyd-Jones, paintings by Darren Hughes and Iwan Gwyn Parry, photography by Andrew Johnson and video by Helen Grove-White. A Closing Reception was held in conjunction with the "Bethesda Art Walk" on Friday, May 14 from 6pm - 9pm.

BOOK SIGNING BY SIMON VAN BOOY
In conjunction with the "11th Annual Bethesda Literary Festival", the Fraser Gallery was pleased to host a book signing by Simon Van Booy. Van Booy grew up in Wales and is the winner of the 2009 Frank O'Conner Award, the world's largest prize given for short stories.
Van Booy will sign copies of his most recently published book, "The Secret Lives of People in Love," a collection of stories exploring love's labors and love's loss.
This free event took place at the Fraser Gallery at 6pm on Saturday, April 17th.

THE BETHESDA PAINTING AWARDS
The Fraser Gallery was pleased to host the Bethesda Painting Awards. An annual competition, open to all painters in Maryland, DC and Virginia and produced by the "Bethesda Arts and Entertainment District". A distinguished panel of judges awarded $13,000 to 3 artists, with a Grand Prize of $10,000. An Opening Reception was held in conjunction with the "Bethesda Art Walk" on Friday, June 11 from 6pm - 9pm.
The 2010 Finalists are Deborah Addison Coburn, Sheila Blake, Deborah Ellis, James Halloran, Katherine Mann, Lindsay McCulloch, Michele Montalbano, Carol Phifer and Nora Sturges.

MAXWELL MacKENZIE - NEW WORK
The Fraser Gallery is pleased to present a solo exhibition of new photographs by Maxwell MacKenzie. The exhibit will include aerial photographs of Vermont, Virginia and Minnesota made by Max from his self-piloted, powered powerchute, ultra-light aircraft. To view the exhibit online, visit here.
